Our Mission
By nurturing the art of filmmaking today we will help build and strengthen the connection of communities for many tomorrows to come. Part of that is to provide a platform for filmmakers around the world to showcase independent films in an effort to receive global recognition, and to focus on economic cultural development. It is also our goal to provide a networking environment for seasoned and emerging filmmakers, give access to viable resources, create collaborative opportunities, and give birth to new business alliances.
Beth Adams is the current Director and Founder of the Shamrock Film Festival. The festival was formed as an original event of The Rosemount Area Arts Council when she was serving on the Executive Board as Programming Chair.
She believed there was a need to tap into and nurture the talent of the local filmmaking community especially in surrounding areas of the Twin Cities. As the festival grows it invites national and international short movie filmmakers to join in and share their experience with the locals and the world as prime examples of the ulitmate storytellers and talented team players working to inspire us all.
